Move Tool

The Move Tool allows you to shift your pattern content without changing the canvas size. This is crucial for centering your design or creating space for new elements.

How to Use

1. Select the Move tool from the toolbar (Cross-arrows icon).
2. Click and drag anywhere on the canvas to shift the bead pattern.
3. The pattern moves in whole-cell increments (snapping to the grid), ensuring your design remains aligned with the pegboard holes.

Viewport Concept

Beadify uses a "Viewport" system:

• The Board (Viewport): The visible white area representing your physical pegboards (e.g., 29x29 or 58x29).
• The Pattern Plane: An infinite layer where your beads exist.

When you use the Move Tool, you are sliding the Pattern Plane underneath the Viewport.

Hidden Content

Content moved outside the white board area is hidden but not deleted. You can move it back into view later.

Exporting

Important: Only the beads currently visible inside the white board area (Viewport) will be included in:

• PDF Exports
• Image Exports
• Used Color Statistics

Use the Move tool to frame exactly the part of the design you want to export.
