Compare mode

Turn an Image into a Perler Bead Pattern You Can Check

Upload a source image and open the created Project directly in Compare, where Split or Overlay shows the adjusted source beside a read-only draft before you apply changes.

  • Split and Overlay views
  • Separate source and Pattern opacity
  • Apply before editing or export

See what the conversion is doing

Compare keeps the draft read-only so image adjustments can be judged before they change the applied Pattern.

Source-to-draft comparison
Keep the adjusted source and generated bead draft in the same workspace instead of comparing separate screenshots.
Split view
Move the divider to inspect source detail and draft structure side by side.
Overlay view
Place the draft over the source and adjust both opacity controls to check alignment and lost detail.
Image adjustment handoff
Change the available image adjustments, inspect the new draft, then apply only when the result is ready.

Upload, compare, then apply

The uploader creates the Project and opens Compare directly. Uploads, examples, the latest Project, and Advanced options all arrive in the same workspace.

  1. Upload the source image

Use the tool above to prepare an image, choose an example, continue the latest Project, or choose Advanced options.

  2. Open directly in Compare

Beadify opens Compare and generates a read-only draft from the current source and image adjustments.

  3. Apply when the draft is ready

Apply the checked adjustments, then switch to Pattern for bead editing or open export from the applied Pattern.

Checks worth making before you edit beads

Use Compare for source-image decisions. It is not the place for bead-level drawing or export.

Protect an important outline

Check whether a face, silhouette, or small feature still reads clearly in the bead draft.

Balance subject and background

Inspect whether background detail competes with the main subject after conversion.

Judge an image adjustment

Compare the draft after changing brightness, contrast, saturation, or other available source controls.

Catch detail loss early

Use Overlay and opacity controls to spot areas that need source adjustment before bead editing begins.

Image conversion questions

What Compare shows, and what must happen before editing or export.

What is the difference between Split and Overlay?

Split places source and draft on opposite sides of a movable divider. Overlay layers them in the same area so you can adjust source and Pattern opacity independently.

Can I edit beads while I am in Compare?

No. Compare is read-only. Apply the checked image adjustments, then switch to Pattern to edit individual beads.

Can I export the Compare draft?

No. The draft must be applied to the Pattern before the normal editing and export workflow is available.

Where are the image adjustment controls?

Create or continue a Project from this page to open Compare directly. Its Details area keeps image adjustments beside the source and draft comparison.

What do Advanced options change?

Advanced options open the existing Setup Wizard for board setup, source preparation, palette choices, and other creation settings, then open the Project in Compare.

Check the draft before changing the Pattern

Upload a source image and open Compare directly, then apply only after Split or Overlay shows the result you want.
