Crafting mode records physical placement progress separately from Pattern editing and export history.

Create a Pattern and open its making view
After an upload or example is prepared, choose Open Workbench to create a Project in Crafting or Preview Export to inspect it first. Continue latest returns to Crafting separately.
Choose a source image
Upload an image here or choose an example. Once it is prepared, choose Open Workbench or Preview Export.
Open Crafting when ready
Open Workbench creates the Project and opens Crafting; Preview Export lets you inspect an export before entering the workspace.
Mark physical progress
Mark beads as you place them, watch the completion count, and leave the Pattern design itself unchanged.
Ways to stay oriented during a build
Pick a physical making rhythm that suits the Pattern; Crafting records what is complete rather than choosing the rhythm for you.
Move across a row or small section
Follow a manageable area of the grid and use drag marking when neighboring cells are complete.
Pause a long project
Close the browser after progress is saved locally, then return on that browser or use your plan's current-state sync on another device.
Check for missed beads
Use the remaining unmarked cells to scan the board before ironing or assembling sections.
Change the right thing
Crafting tracks the build. Return to another mode only when the source or Pattern itself needs attention.

Does Crafting change my Pattern?
No. Crafting records which cells you have placed without changing the Pattern grid, edit history, or export result.
How do I open Crafting mode?
Upload an image or choose an example, then select Open Workbench to create the Project in Crafting. You can also Preview Export first, or continue the latest Project in Crafting.
Can I mark several beads quickly?
Yes. You can click individual cells, drag across cells, or use the keyboard controls while the Crafting view is active.
Will progress sync to another device?
Yes for eligible signed-in cloud Projects. Free users choose Sync now; Paid and Lifetime users receive automatic current-state sync. Guest progress remains local to the browser.
What happens when I reset progress?
After confirmation, the current completion marks are cleared. Beadify never combines a reset with older remote marks automatically, and the Pattern design remains unchanged.
