Reuse a source image
Add a source, make a Pattern, or use it in an existing Project
Open Image Assets and choose Sources. This is the reusable image collection; finished images you chose to save live in Saved Exports. Both count toward the same Image Assets capacity.

- Sources filters the library to reusable input images.
- A thumbnail or title opens a preview, not a Project.
- Make Pattern creates a Project from this Source.
Add or find a source
Select Add Image to upload a source. Create > Generate Image and Add Image > Generate with AI can also add successful results here. Search by title, filter the asset list, or sort by recent date or name.
Select a source thumbnail or title to preview it. A preview does not create a Project. Source cards may show how many Patterns use that image.
Make a Pattern from a source
- On a source card, choose Make Pattern.
- The Workbench opens in Compare with a Pattern made from that source.
- Check the result, prepare the source if needed, and confirm changes before export.
Result: you have a Project whose source remains linked to the saved image. See Compare for crop and image preparation.
Tip: use Make Pattern when you are ready for a bead grid; opening the thumbnail only previews the picture.
Replace a source in an existing Project
Open the Project in the Workbench. In the left Source row, choose Library, find the saved image, and select Use. Inspect the replacement preview in Compare before confirming. Cancel to keep the old source and applied Pattern.
Using Library retains the Image Asset link while your signed-in account can access it. A normal Upload / Replace uses the new local file and removes the earlier library link after confirmation. Library is unavailable while signed out.
For another use, open the source card's menu and choose Reference to take it into the image generator's Image to Image mode. The generator's result can also be saved as a source.
