Organize Projects with folders

Group, pin, and reorder Projects while keeping their bead Patterns intact

Open Folders to group related Projects. Sign in before creating an account folder. All Patterns remains the full Project library.

Close-up of folder creation, ordering, and actions.

  1. Create folder starts a new Project group.
  2. Drag this handle to reorder within Pinned.
  3. The menu can unpin, rename, move, or delete this folder.

Create and fill a folder

  1. Select Create folder, enter a name, and save it.
  2. Open the folder and choose Add existing to select Projects.
  3. Open a Project from the folder whenever you want to continue editing.

The folder page can search within its own Projects. You can also move a Project from its card in All Patterns. A folder may use one of its Pattern previews as a cover.

Result: the selected Projects appear together. Their bead grids and exported files do not change when you move them.

Keep important folders close

Open a folder's ⋯ menu or right-click it to Pin, Rename, or Delete. Pinned folders have their own group in the sidebar and collection. Drag a folder's handle to reorder it within its group, or choose Move up or Move down in the menu. Pin or unpin before moving a folder between those groups.

Tip: reordering folders does not reorder the Patterns inside them. Dashboard and Folders show folder cards in the same order.

Delete a folder safely

Choose Delete from the folder menu and read the confirmation before proceeding. Deleting the folder keeps its Projects and moves them out of that folder. The folder itself cannot be restored with Undo.

If you meant to keep the group, cancel the confirmation and rename or unpin it instead. To find a Project after deleting its folder, use the Unfiled filter in All Patterns.
