Choose colors and update
Use a palette or your Stash, exclude colors, then apply the pending choice
Open a Project in Pattern. In the left Colors area, choose All for the selected palette or Stash for color types you marked as owned in Inventory. The tab counts are before manual exclusions; Stash does not record bead quantities.
Check the three color rows

You can open Excluded directly. Check a color to exclude it from the next update; uncheck it to allow it again. Restore clears exclusions in the currently selected source. Setup returns to the three summary rows.
Before Update: Stash 4, Excluded 1, Available 3; Used is still 14.
- These choices affect the next update; the current Pattern still has 14 colors.
After Update: Used becomes 3 and Updated is disabled.
- After Update, the used colors match the allowed range.
All and Stash share exclusion choices, but a color outside Stash is already unavailable there and does not raise Stash's Excluded count. Used stays unchanged until Update applies a new Pattern.
Build with the colors you own
- In Inventory, select the matching brand and palette and mark the color types you own.
- Return to the Project and choose Stash. Use Excluded for any owned colors you want to leave out.
- Choose Update, read a confirmation if one appears, and check the changed Pattern and Used colors.
Result: the new Pattern draws from eligible Stash colors. Inventory does not limit generation by the number of beads you physically have. Compare the required counts in Info before building; fewer eligible colors may reduce shading.
In this example, Inventory contains White, Black, Peach, and Toasted Marshmallow. Excluding Peach in Stash and choosing Update leaves only White, Black, and Toasted Marshmallow in the result. If you change Inventory in another tab, reopen the Project to read the latest selections.
Open Used to check the actual result; excluded Peach is absent.
- The three colors total 1,945 required beads, not owned quantities.
Apply or discard a pending choice
Update is enabled for a valid pending change. Updated is disabled when the applied settings already match; an empty Stash cannot be applied and explains why. Returning every choice to its applied value clears the pending change.
Cancel beside Update discards pending configuration and color choices; separate image edits may still have their own preview. Updating can replace manual bead edits or affect Crafting marks, so read the confirmation when shown. Choosing an Excluded color alone does not alter the current Pattern.
