Shared Workbench controls

Choose what the next Pattern uses and inspect the one already applied

The left sidebar answers “What should the next Pattern use?” The right Info tab answers “What is in the Pattern I have now?” These can show different values while an update is pending. Compare, Pattern, and Crafting share these panels; each mode's own tools are in its mode guide.

The left panel groups the choices for the next Pattern.

  1. Source: choose the image or import a Project backup.
  2. Configuration: select the palette, board, and size.
  3. Colors: choose All or Stash, then review exclusions.
  4. Updated is disabled because this example has no pending setup change.

Choose a setup task

Update applies a valid pending setup choice; Cancel beside it discards pending configuration and color choices. A separate Compare image preview has its own confirmation. Check the resulting Pattern after an update, especially if you had made manual edits or Crafting marks.

Check the current Pattern

Read Info to see applied board size, filled bead count, used colors, material details, and readiness. Its counts are requirements for the current Pattern, not physical stock quantities.

The right panel's second tab changes with the mode: Compare Image tools, Pattern tools, or Crafting Progress. The header toggles can hide either sidebar to make more room for the canvas.
