Track your beadwork in Crafting
Mark beads as placed, follow progress, and resume the same Project
Use Crafting while assembling a generated Pattern. The bead grid stays read-only here: a placed mark records your physical progress and does not change the Pattern or an exported file.
Progress counts beads you have marked as placed.
- Read the placed count alongside the rounded percentage.
- Use labels while building, Undo for a mistake, or Reset when starting again.
Mark what you have placed
- Open a Project with a generated Pattern and switch to Crafting above the canvas.
- Click a bead to mark it as placed. Drag across a run when several adjacent beads are ready.
- Watch the placed count and completion percentage as you build.
Result: the marks belong to this Project. You can use the arrow keys to move across beads, then press Space or Enter to toggle the focused bead. Use the label control when you need numbers or symbols to find your place.
Tip: the count is more precise than the rounded percentage for a small batch of beads. If you mark one accidentally, use Undo.
The right Progress panel keeps the placed count and completion share beside the canvas. Its Reset action asks before clearing marks. Common Project settings and Info details are in Workbench settings.
Leave and return
Open Dashboard, then reopen the same Project from Continue creating or All Patterns. Switch back to Crafting if the Project opens in another mode. In the same browser, you can continue from its saved Crafting marks.
For example, mark two beads, then Undo one. Back in Dashboard, the card still shows 1 / 1,945 and Last opened: Crafting. Choose Continue to reopen that same Project with one placed mark. A small count can round to 0%; that does not mean it was not saved.
Continue uses the mode last opened for this Project.
- Check the mode and placed count, then choose Continue.
For signed-in makers, Cloud Sync explains how the current Project and its separate Crafting checklist travel together. Free users select Sync now; Pro and lifetime plans can sync automatically. For a Project that is not cloud-ready yet, first use Sync Project and Crafting. Check sync status before switching devices.
When the Pattern changes
If you edit or regenerate the Pattern, marks that no longer match it are cleared. Review the count after a Pattern change before resuming physical assembly. To start the checklist over deliberately, choose Reset and confirm; Undo can restore the marks. Resetting Crafting does not reset the applied Pattern.
If the beads themselves need changing, switch to Pattern. For a new source image or a side-by-side check, open Compare.
