Image Assets

Use Image Assets as your source-image library for patterns and AI references

Image Assets is your signed-in source-image library. Use it to keep uploaded images, generated results, and prepared images before turning them into bead patterns.

Image Assets is separate from All Patterns. An image asset is the creative source; a pattern is the bead grid you edit, export, publish, or download.

Open Image Assets

  1. Sign in.
  2. Open Dashboard.
  3. Choose Library > Image Assets from the workbench sidebar.

The Image Assets view shows your saved source images, remaining library capacity, and asset cards. The first card is Add Image. Existing cards can show when an image has already been used in patterns.

Add Images

You can add images in several places:

  • Use Add Image in Image Assets to upload a source image.
  • Generate an image in the Beadify workbench. Successful results are saved back into Image Assets.
  • In Project Setup, use Save on the prepared preview to keep the current source image for later.

Image Asset capacity is separate from project folders, cloud-synced project quota, and credits.

Make a Pattern From an Image Asset

  1. Open Image Assets.
  2. Click the image preview or title.
  3. Project Setup opens with that image ready.
  4. Adjust the crop, background, enhancement, brand, palette, and board size.
  5. Click Beadify It to create the pattern.

Patterns created from Image Assets keep their source link, so the library can show usage such as "Used in 1 patterns".

Use an Image Asset in an Existing Editor Project

You can replace the source image inside the Editor without starting a new pattern from the Dashboard.

  1. Open the project in the Editor.
  2. In the left Source row, click Library.
  3. Search or browse your Image Assets.
  4. Click Use on the image you want.
  5. Click Update Grid after checking the setup options.

Choosing a different source clears the current generated pattern before regeneration. Normal Upload or Replace also clears the Image Asset link for that project.

When you choose from Library, the project keeps the Image Asset link. The Editor can restore that source on reload as long as your signed-in account still has access to the asset. Use Upload or Replace when you want to detach the project from the previous library asset.

If you are signed out, the Library entry is disabled because Image Assets belong to your signed-in account.

Use an Image Asset as an AI Reference

Image Assets can also feed the image generator.

  1. Open the card menu or right-click an image asset.
  2. Choose Reference.
  3. The generator opens in Image to Image mode with that image attached.
  4. Generated results can be saved back into Image Assets.

Manage Assets

Use the asset card menu or right-click actions to:

  • Reference: use the image as an AI image reference.
  • Download: save the source image locally.
  • Rename: keep the library searchable.
  • Delete: remove the image from the Image Assets library.

Saved patterns and image assets are different objects. Open the pattern from All Patterns when you need to continue bead-grid editing or export.
